Worship Ministry

“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” (Revelation 4:11)

The goal of the worship team is to learn and practice genuine worship to God with a clean and Holy Spirit filled heart.

Since the beginning of this church we have tried to find out from God’s Word what is true kind of worship and what kind of worshippers God wants. Worship is not just a time for singing to the Lord. Worship is in Spirit, it is not just an expression of words, thoughts or emotions of the believer. The worship is an attitude of the heart and of the spirit in which we give allow God His proper place.

Providence Baptist Church adopted a worship style focused on the participation of the whole church, eliminating the model of artists and spectators. Worship team includes all age groups. No one is too young or too old to sing the praises of the Lord.

Providence Worship Ministry seeks to praise and worship Jesus Christ and to minister to those in the congregation through music.

Below is the commitment of those who want to be part of the Worship Ministry. You are welcome to worship with us the great God we are serving.

Commitment

• Working as a group for at least one year and then have an evaluation of the ministry.
• Praying and fasting for each other and the ministry. Thursday is a day set apart for fasting.
• Being open when introducing / learning new songs.
• Attending all rehearsals and all the regular Church meetings.
• Learning and professing humility and decency in worship.
