What We Believe

We believe that:

God created the heavens and the earth and everything on it. Lord God created man from the dust of the earth and breathed life into his nostrils. God is the only source of life. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born as a man from the Virgin Mary in Bethlehem, the city of David, as was prophesied of old.

Jesus is the only way man can be saved from sin. Stages of salvation are:

•  Hearing the Word of the Gospel
•  Repentance of the sins we live in
•  Decision to turn to God and cease to live in sin
•  Confession of faith that Jesus died on the cross in our place, bearing our sins,  and rose from the dead the third day.

Christ ascended into heaven and He is the only Mediator between God and man

Baptism is the believer’s testimony that he accepted the death to the world in Christ and the resurrection with Christ by being born again of the Holy Spirit

God the Holy Spirit is the gift God gives to His children who listen, believe in Him and want a transformed life and want to be powerful witnesses of God. We believe that the normal Christian life is a victorious life in the Spirit as described by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount and by the Apostle Paul in Romans 8.

Holy Spirit produces fruit in the lives of all of God’s children and endows them with gifts of the Spirit, as He wills, in order for them to serve His Church and all the unsaved people.

There will be a day when the Church, the Bride of the Lord, will be raptured, a day when all people will give account for the good or evil they have done while in the body. God calls all people to repentance today. Obedience to God or salvation refusal will determine where we spend eternity, in heaven or in hell.
